Grayslake Historical Society member Jane Trump will share the story of Grayslake’s spirited past, from saloons of the ragtime era through the long, mostly dry spell of Prohibition up to today’s vibrant bar scene.

Stop on by the Heritage Center to pick up your map and wine glass, then visit 15 Grayslake businesses for shopping and wine tasting. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation.
Using visual aids the history and stories of buildings and businesses on the south side of Center Street will be shared. Audience participation will be encouraged. Society annual meeting: Two Society board members are up for re-election. There are also two additional openings. Board terms are for three years.
