    Weaving is a special skill used to make blankets, baskets and rugs.  Kids will see real artifacts used for weaving and make a woven treasure of their own.  Look for a Saturday Kids! program on the second Saturday of each month.

    Join the Grayslake Arts Alliance for a special Illinois Bicentennial Fine Art Show.  Enjoy a display of art created by local artists as well as music by students of the Chapin Jazz Studio, a kids art project with Lincoln-style hats and prairie-style bonnets, and free refreshments.

    The museum hosts a concert by the Lake County Folk Club featuring Claudia Russell and Bruce Kaplan, with opener Cuz‘n Bone. Tickets: General Audience $18, Seniors $15, Lake County Folk Club members $13. The museum will be open before and after the show.
