Enjoy a powerful address from Rosie the Riveter, played by Lynn Rymarz, then swing the night away with the Highland Park Pops Big Band at the Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation’s annual USO-style Fundraiser. A 1940’s dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.
Learn about the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly and make butterfly art while exploring Monarch butterflies – the official state insects of Illinois.
Look for the bright yellow Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum booth during the Farmers Market. Stop in and make colorful butterfly art. The museum will be open until 7:00 PM too.
The museum hosts a Lake County Folk Club concert featuring Chris Vallillo with opener Ted Geise. Tickets: General Audience $18, Seniors $15, Lake County Folk Club members $13.

Enjoy an intimate concert in the Heritage Center Courtyard with performances by students from Chapin Jazz Studio. Admission is free.
