Families are invited to put their hands on the past as members of the Grayslake Historical Society share artifacts from their Traveling Basket.
Join us on this day off from school as we learn about Harriet Tubman. Reenactor Pamela Welcome will share Harriet's life as a conductor of the Underground Railroad and spy during the Civil War through stories and songs.
Stop by the museum to enjoy a display of art created by local artists as well as artist demonstrations and refreshments. Come be inspired!
The museum hosts a concert by the Lake County Folk Club featuring Barbara Silverman & Colby Maddox, with opener Wattle & Daub. Tickets: General Audience $18, Seniors $15, Lake County Folk Club members $13. The museum will be open before and after the show.

2018 marks the Illinois bicentennial and we’re inviting amateur and professional photographers alike to share images that represent Illinois! Completed entries must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 24 and will remain on display through November 3, 2018.
