The Society invites the public to share a family object and its story, or bring a unique “mystery” item. Light refreshments will be served and our new exhibit, Tales Unveiled, will be open after the program.

Look for the bright yellow Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum booth during the Farmers Market. The museum will be open until 7:00 PM too.
The museum is hosting a benefit concert by the Lake County Folk Club. This event will be a Board Member Showcase! Admission is a free will donation. All proceeds from this very special concert will be donated to the Grayslake Historical Society.
Join local genealogists for a lively discussion on researching family. Share your own stories or come for advice from other genealogists.
Stop downtown for a free community event where we will create music together. We promise: no experience necessary! Listen to the rhythm or step up to a drum and add your own beat.
We will dig for hidden artifacts and learn how archaeologists work in the field. Weather permitting, this program will be held outside.
