Grayslake Arts Alliance hosts a spring fine art show with live music and activities
Grayslake Historical Society program, “The Medline Story”. Heritage Center Community Room. Refreshments. Public Invited. Free. Medline, located at the north east corner of Alleghany and Peterson roads earned Grayslake’s 2022 EDC award. This program will highlight its history and business.
The Grayslake Historical Society will have its 1954 fire truck in Grayslake’s Memorial Day parade.
American Lit Revisited Book Club: “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Free. College of Lake County Professor Cathy Colton will lead the book club discussion.
80s BoomBox Band will perform. First summer concert of the year with 80s cover band music.
Performances at 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Public invited. Donations appreciated. This year the costumed reenactors will portray Mary Mogg, Mary Godfrey, Abigail Frazier, Henry Hart, John Wicks, John Murrie and Allen McMillen. Visitors will hear about their lives and their legacies. Sponsored by Strang Funeral Chapel.
