DESCRIPTION:Depending on Covid restrictions in November\, this program will be in person or on Facebook Live.\nIt’s fitting that we will be spotlighting the 1918 – 1919 pandemic on Veteran’s Day.  Influenza raged in army and navy camps and caused the U.S. to lose more military personnel to disease than to combat in World War I.  Jane Trump will bring a local focus to the story of the virulent illness that killed fifty million people world wide.
