Celebrate the Centennial of the National Park Service

Actor R. J Lindsey will portray Stephen T. Mather, founding director of the National Park Service at Grayslake Village Hall. This program, sponsored by the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, is planned in observance of the National Park Service’s Centennial. Featuring colorful stories and stunning images of parks and wildlife, this program shares true stories of courage as Mather too on Congressional neglect and ruthless speculators to save America’s wilderness for future generations.
